1. VATSSA Staff

1.1 Staff Roles

The following are the official VATSSA staff roles:

  • Division Director (VATSSA1)
  • Deputy Director (VATSSA2)
  • ATC Training Manager
  • Pilot Training Manager
  • Membership Manager
  • Webmaster
  • Events Manager
  • Sector File Manager
  • Documentation Manager

1.2 Appointments

  • The Division Director is appointed by the EMEA Region Director.
  • All other staff positions are appointed by VATSSA1 and can remain vacant if necessary.

1.3 ATC Training Manager Requirements

  • Must be a controller holding a C1 rating or higher.

1.4 Pilot Training Manager Requirements

  • Must be a pilot holding a PPL rating or higher, or possess equivalent real-world qualifications.

1.5 Data Protection Compliance

  • All staff must be fully familiar with the VATSSA Data Protection and Handling Policy.
  • Staff must agree to comply with this policy at all times.

1.6 Conduct and Representation

  • All staff are expected to represent VATSSA at all times.
  • Any report of misconduct will be investigated accordingly.

1.7 Termination of Staff Status

  • VATSSA1 reserves the right to terminate any staff member’s roles and responsibilities at any time.
  • Affected staff members have the right to be heard before any termination decision is finalized.
